Traditionally, AA Membership could only be acquired via the AA website, Call Centre or Travel Experience stores.
There was no other way to purchase “readily available” AA Membership... until NOW!
This gap has now been closed by the AA expanding its channels through which AA Membership can be purchased, but at the same time, making the purchase of AA Membership even easier and more convenient for potential AA Members.

AA Membership at Your Fingertips
AA Advantage Membership can now be purchased off the shelf from participating Pick n Pay and Dischem stores for R729. All that customers need to do is to visit the “Splashout” display unit in the participating store (usually placed at the front of the store), select the AA branded card and make payment at the cashier. Once the AA card has been paid for, the customer must scratch off the foil to reveal their unique pin number.
Once they have their pin, they can call the AA on 011 799 1001 during office hours (8am-5pm) or SMS “giftcard” to 33505 and an agent will call them back in order to activate their Membership. A Membership pack including their AA Membership card will be sent to the new Member once their Membership has been activated by one of our agents.

The AA gift card will be in stores from January 2011 to coincide with the start of the New Year and to make the perfect gift all year round for all those special occassions. What better gift to give a loved one than complete motoring peace of mind with the AA.
