Can I Carry a Copy of my Driver's License?
Question:
I don't keep my original driver's license with me as my bag has been snatched twice. Instead, I carry a copy of my driver's license in the car. When I was stopped by police, they didn't want to accept a copy. Is there anything else I can do?
Answer:
You may carry a certified copy of your driver's license. The authorities should accept this, and it should be sufficient.
