What are the benefits of the CCI?

The main benefits of the CCI are:

  • Can be used as an identity document which may be left at the campsite reception, in place of the travellers passport.
  • Includes 3rd party insurance coverage for any damages caused by the CCI-holder while staying away from home at a campsite or in rented accommodation.
  • Provides discounts or reductions at campsites as detailed in the CCI booklet. A current version of the booklet can be found on the CCI website.
  • The CCI card provides proof to campsites that the CCI-holders are club members and therefore are usually reliable guests and if anything goes wrong the campsite owner may contact the CCI-issuing club or one of the 3 federations.
