The AA Takes Road Safety To Soweto

14 June 2013:

As the country commemorates Youth Day this Monday, the Automobile Association of South Africa (AA) will be taking road safety to Soweto with the message ‘safer roads start with you’. The long weekend will see motorists out on the roads in full force and it’s hoped the AA’s commitment to promoting road safety will assist in reducing the number of inevitable road crashes.

The events include demonstrations on how to stay safe on the road, how to change a tyre, how to check your oil, and general road safety. The aim is to educate road users on the importance of obeying the rules of the road and to take responsibility for their own actions as a driver, or as a passenger.

Safety should be a key issue for all road users and the AA will showcase the value of keeping road safety top of mind

The AA will be delivering their road safety message at Maponya Mall from the 15th to the 17th of June.
