The AA Technical College is able to assist you in identifying your staff members' strengths and weaknesses when coming to the technical workplace.

These assessments are done to determine what training would be suitable to improve the staff members' skills and knowledge.

The Basic Assessment

The delegate will be given a basic literacy test in English, a basic mechanical- and electrical ability and skill test. This assessment determines the candidates current basic technical knowledge and skill, as well as his/her trainability. This is suited for delegates that need to be up-skilled formally since they have been employed as unskilled or semi-skilled workers.

The Pre-Trade Test Assessment

The delegate will be given three tasks per day to complete under test conditions in line with his/her trade. A basic literacy test in English can be requested as well. 

The Psychometric Assessment

This provides the AA Technical College and the candidate with an appropriate and effective means to gauge the candidate’s suitability for the chosen trade. It also enables the AA Technical College to effectively recommend potential candidates to its business customers.

In addition to this the AA Technical College is able to offer a candidate background check for the following:

  • Qualifications.
  • Criminal Records.
  • Financial.
